"Get Out and Play - 60 Minutes A Day"
We all know it's important to be active every day. But did you know that you should aim to play for 60 minutes a day? Check out how easy it is to do!
Your 60 minutes doesn't have to be done all at once. You can build up to it throughout the day through playing games, dancing, sports and recreation, and getting from place to place. And it can be fun! The 60 minutes can include hanging out with your friends, getting active at break times at school, playing games with your family, and being out and about, exploring your community.
We're talking moderate to vigorous exercise, which means you need to get your heart rate up and huff and puff a bit! And with all the fun you'll be having, it'll be easy to make sure you spend less than two hours a day ("out of school" time) in front of the television and computers, and playing electronic games.
